Your EZSrve provides a convenient means to monitor and control your Insteon and
X10 home automation devices through an Ethernet network. Using the ever-present
web browser, the unit can be set up to configure and use a home automation
network to monitor and control lighting, irrigation, home theaters, drapes, etc.
Because the unit connects to a computer network through an Ethernet connection,
EZSrve can be accessed remotely through the Internet.
EZSrve does not require a PC for operation and maintains schedules (timers) to
control devices at specific times of the day on particular days of the week.
The schedules can also be based on offsets from Sunrise/Sunset as the unit
automatically calculates from its geographic location. The unit can also
be set up to take action on events (macros) from the home automation network.
As long as it is powered, EZSrve maintains the timers and macros and takes the appropriate action when required without further intervention by
an outside software application.
INSTEON and X10 compatibility means virtually unlimited connectivity, including wireless networks and the Internet.
EZSrve also works simultaneously in bridge mode through an IP XML socket and
allows up to 20 client applications to be concurrently connected. This
makes possible the availability of third-party web and PC applications to
effectively use the EZSrve.
EZSrve is easy to install and operate, and its set-up is done through the
built-in web server or with a provided application that also allows operation via XML
files.

x's are your server IP address. Once the application initializes,
it runs entirely in your local machine interacting with the connected
EZSrve.
